



To Travel is to Live! The Budget Treasures Travel Club is a travel club for people who love to travel but don't love to spend a lot of money doing it. We meet the 4th Thursday of every month at Ross U-Hills Library, 4310 E. Amherst Ave. Denver, CO 6-7 pm. Membership is free. Upcoming 2011 Presentations January 27: “China less Traveled” with guest presenter Richard Lion. This meeting is CANCELLED due to the closure of Ross U-Hills Library the week of Jan 27. Richard's presentation will be scheduled later in the year. February 24: "Iceland, Greenland and Spitzbergen" with guest Ken Levine. March 24: "The Plight of the Untouchables" with guest speaker Eileen Kadlec. April 28: "Road Rally: London to Ulaan Bataar, Mongolia" with guest speaker Richard Ferrel who will talk about his 10,500 mile drive throught 20 countries including Iran! May 26: "China Less Traveled" with guest speaker Richard Lion. We will hear about Richard's independent trip to the World's Heritage sites not included in most China tours including Ancient City of Ping Yao, Datong and the Yungang Grottoes, the Classical Gardens of Suzhou, the Longmen Grottoes, the Sichuan Giant panda Sanctuaries, and the Leshan Giant Buddha.
